Picked up my sticks again when I hit 40. Never lost the passion just couldn’t find the time. Still loved the old jazz but started to morph my drumming into different directions. Not only wanted to play the standards but all the new jazz and smooth jazz. I started getting into the subtleties and finesse playing of drummers like Carter Beauford, Steve Gadd and Bernard Purdie. Helped me to define my style a bit.

Been in projects over the past 10 years in Portland. Currently playing for Fr. John and The Holy Rollers as well as The Modulators and do an occasional jam here and there. I simply love to play with other quality musicians. A live audience is my reward.
